University of Bengkulu Office for Regional Network on Poverty Eradication, UniB RENPER, is an institution attached on University of Bengkulu, Indonesia, for research and development on poverty studies. This is an expression of the university commitment in developing Regional Network on Poverty Eradication in collaboration with some Asian universities. We proactively provide accurate and timely information, as well as scientific analyses, on various poverty issues considered most urgent and relevant for poverty eradication. All of our work is directed toward our primary goal of contributing the university researches to all poverty eradication efforts in Indonesia, and encouraging pro-poor policies at national, provincial, and district levels through evidence-based research.
Since its establishment in 2011, UniB RENPER has been a leader in poverty research in among university researches. UniB RENPER researcher conducts qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method studies on various poverty issues. We actively publish and report our research findings through periodical discussion, seminar, and conference. Most of the UniB RENPER research staffs actively involve in annual RENPER International Seminar in Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Malaysia, University of Battambang, Cambodia, and Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
